Ready for Fall!!!

This week in kindergarten we will complete our study of fall by studying scarecrows and pumpkins. Some of the stories we will enjoy include Barn Dance, The Pumpkin Blanket, Pumpkin Pumpkin, We're Going on a Leaf Hunt, It's Pumpkin Time. It will be a very busy week! On Thursday, we will have a visitor from the Vicksburg Police Department to talk about Halloween safety. On Friday, we will have our Halloween Party at 1:30. Students are to wear their usual blue jeans and school t-shirts that day. Our room mother, Mrs. Mangle, will be contacting some of you to provide snacks for our party. For our behavior reward, students will be rewarded each day with a sticker, treat, or trip to the treasure box for keeping their cars on track. I will be out of the classroom on Tuesday and Wednesday attending a conference out of town. Please stress to your children that they should be on their best behavior!
This week is also Red Ribbon Week. Students should follow the schedule that came home on Wednesday. Each day they should do the activity to show they will stay drug free. Monday is hat day. Students are to wear their favorite cap or hat to school. The rest of the scheduled activities will be on tomorrow's newsletter. We are looking forward to a great week!
