The Apple Pie Tree

One of our favorite apple books is The Apple Pie Tree. In the back of the book is a recipe for apple pie; so, we made 2. We cheated just a little to save time and bought frozen pie crusts. We cored and sliced the apples. We filled the pie shells with apples slices, sugar, cinnamon and butter. Then we covered it with another pie shell and pinched the edges. We baked the pies for 50 minutes in our class oven. Later that day, we ate the pie. You can see that we enjoyed it!
