This Week in Kindergarten September 28-October 2

This week we will conclude our farm unit. We will read our favorite story, Mrs. Wishy-Washy, as well as stories about farm animals. We will study various farm animals and what they produce. We will also talk about where our food comes from. We will also be talking about the four food groups and healthy eating. We will make many art projects, cook some great food, and enjoy our farm fest.
Althought some students may not be able to participate in all the farm fest activities due to behavior issues, there will be learning experiences that ALL students will be included in on Friday. We will have some animals visiting us and maybe a few more surprises! All students will participate in these activities. It will only be the actual party that students not earning their 12 stickers will miss. It will be a fun day for all! We need the following items for the party: little smokies and canned biscuits, round undecorated sugar cookies, pink sugar wafer cookies, butterscotch chips, chocolate chips, large marshmallows, white icing, caramel for dipping (found in produce dept.). If you can send any of these items we would appreciate it. We need them no later than Wednesday.
There will be a PTA meeting Thursday at 5:30 at the school. There will be refreshments, door prizes, and childcare. The class with the most parents wins a prize. Come help us be the winners!
