This Week In Kindergarten: September 8--11

We have a very busy week planned! The students will be learning about their five senses. We will be making a book about our senses and reading lots of stories. In Reading, we are continuing to work and letters m, s, and r. We will add t this week. We are also working on our sight words and rhyming words. In Math, we are continuing to work on our numbers and sorting. This week we will begin working on position words (in, on, under, behind, etc.) and patterns. You can use the flashcards in the BEE binder to help your child.
Most of the students have completed homework everyday! I am so proud of them. Please keep up the good work. This is value practice and increases the student's sense of responsiblity.
On Thursday, we will have our Teddy Bear picnic. So far, only 1 person has sent Capri Sun drinks and we have no Teddy Grahams. Please send these no later than Wed. so we know what we have.
Friday will be our Grandparents' Day celebration at 10:00 a.m. We want to see as many grandparents as possible so pass out those invitations! Due to limited space, this event is for grandparents only.
Thanks for your cooperation and support!
